I am happiest by myself. I like persons; not people. Music keeps me alive. I try to be worthy of God's love. I'm still trying to find my way...

Heck, It's My Right! And I Will Exercise It!

Boys boys di3 abi we no dey fight ky3.
Tr: Men don’t bear grudges.

I generally do not bear grudges unless I find it absolutely necessary, partly because I find that they are too energy-consuming to sustain for long periods. In fact I consider myself quite a forgiving person, almost to a fault.

What I cannot stand however, is the fact that just by virtue of calling myself a man I am expected to rescind my right to bear grudges. Hell! What’s so femininely special about bearing grudges that only women are allowed to bear them?

I simply cannot understand why women are allowed, even expected, to bear grudges and men are not. It’s absolute hot rot, if you ask me (and even you don’t)! A woman will bear her choice of grudge till she, of her own will decides that she doesn’t want to anymore. But the moment a man even falters in that direction, “ARE YOU NOT A MAN?” is slapped right in his face and practically forced down his nostrils. Kai! It’s injustice, I tell you!

As for me, it is my right to bear my choice of grudge for whatever period of time I choose, and I will exercise my right as and when I feel like it! And every other man should too!

Nice rant, though I think a tad misguided, lol.

Yet still, by the power vested in me by way of womanhood, the right to begrudge and be begrudged (begrudgen?) is thus granted to you. Go now and begrudge the world at will...
